• The authenticity of the Sarbloh Granth Sahib ji

The Sarbloh Granth contains the words Sri Mukhvak Patshahi 10, meaning the Holy verses dictated by the Tenth Sovereign, Guru Gobind Singh. There are a number of old manuscripts of it from 1698 AD, as recorded by the great Nihang, Akali Narang Singh (Harnam Das Udasin).

Guru Gobind Singh started the patth at Anandpur Sahib and completed it at Langar Sahib Gurdwara, formally known as Sarbloh Bunga. It was here that Guru ji spoke the final passages of this Holy Granth Sahib to Banda Singh Bahadur. The Dam Dami Taksal record Banda Singh Bahadur having done seva of writing Sarbloh Granth handwritten birs.

The Buddha Dal considers the Sarbloh Granth in equal respects to Dasam Granth, as Gurbani, althought they place Guru Granth Sahib in the centre, as a mark of it recieving the Guruship. When they perform Akhand Patths they do a combination of Adi Guru Granth Sahib, Dasam Granth Sahib and Sarbloh Granth Sahib, along with a Japji Sahib Pothi read as well.
